When you want a quick Soup that will satisfy your taste buds, then this is just the recipe for you. Bombay Curry soup is a delicious, spicy Soup (or Shorba) that is made with Split Red Lentils, Tomatoes, Onions and Curry Powder. Served with a Lemon wedge, this makes a satisfying appetizer before lunch or dinner or you can just have it as a snack in the evening.
We have two recipes for you today – one making this the traditional way in a Pressure Cooker and if you have a Microwave Oven, we also brought to you a simple way of making this in the Microwave Oven. Since, I am now a proud owner of the LG Charcoal Oven, I have also included instructions on how to make this using its special menus.
For the Curry Powder, check out our recipe for making the Madras Curry Powder at home.
